This is a preview of one of my recent unordinary mixed media paintings. It's acrylics and newspaper on a 16x20 repurposed canvas.
I believe that a girl, deep down in her heart, is always a princess. And, as such, that girl should always treat herself with respect. And, it goes without saying, be beautiful and smart.
During a local business expo this month I got to see actual items printed by a 3D printer. Novacopy recently acquired one and had several samples on display. My favorite was the tiny replica of the Eiffel Tower. It was so incredibly detailed. I can't wait to see all the advancements that will be made in the near future with this amazing technology. And, I really can't wait to get one of my own.
Wishing my mom and all the mothers I know a very happy Mother's Day. Thanks for all you do, have done, and will continue to do for us. Without your support and encouragement we couldn't be the artist we are today.
Last week my little dog turned three. To celebrate she and I went to petco and got a colorful, festive, and aptly named party collar. And we picked up a little box of celebration cupcakes for dogs. At her current dog training class we shared a cupcake with the other dogs. Each dog savored every last bite and candy sprinkle on that brown cupcake. It was adorable! I'm so thankful that I was able to share that with our new friends.
